Branched Chain Amino Acids, L-leucine, L-valine, and L-isoleucine have been investigated fir their potential anticatabolic (reducing muscle breakdown) and anabolic (muscle building) effects. BCAAs are know to stimulate protein synthesis and are essential for muscle growth. NPL's 2:1:1 BCAAs may improve nitrogen retention by sparing other amino acids - aiding the growth and repair of (muscle) tissue. BCAA supplementation may therefore promote an increase in muscle recovery and reduces fatigue associated with intense exercise.
