Mined from a salt lake in Semnan province in Iran, our blue salt has a more subtle flavour, slight sweetness and a cleaner aftertaste. The colour streaks are due to the naturally occuring mineral, Sylvite. The colour is a result of the crystal formation and the pressure to which the salt crystals are exposed.    HOW TO An interesting substitute to the conventional sea salt, in the kitchen or on the table.
