'Finding Joy' by Amy Ayanda Lester draws inspiration from our local landscape, including her great-grandmother's flower farm in Constantia from which her family was forcibly moved under the Group Areas Act. The vibrant colours and patterns of "finding Joy' capture the dawning of a new day, with dew drops adorning the landscape and honey birds breaking their fast on the nectar of our much-loved fynbos.
